Our Mandate
Dignity, Safety & Opportunity
The Women Empowerment Cell functions as a statutory committee under the UGC guidelines for prevention, prohibition, and redressal of sexual harassment at the workplace. At GKJNCL, the WEC goes beyond compliance — it actively runs programmes that build confidence, awareness, and agency among women students.
With 52% female enrollment, GKJNCL recognises that women's participation in higher education is not just a statistic but a mission — and the WEC exists to ensure every woman student thrives on campus.
